Photo Tour: The Magnolia Dining Room

The Magnolia Dining Room inside Pratt Place Inn is perfect for parties that are a little smaller, or for the bride who doesn’t actually want to be married inside a barn.  Rental of the Dining Room includes the adjacent flagstone patio and the surrounding grounds.  Inside you can seat up to 80 guests or you can give your party great flow by having an indoor/outdoor set up, which will allow for 200 guests.

Photo Tour: Pratt Place Barn

If you haven’t attended an event at Pratt Place yet, then you probably don’t understand what all the buzz is about!  Well prepare yourself, because you’re about to enjoy some of our favorite event photos and give you more history than most of our brides even know!

We have spaces that can fit all of your needs…

Pratt Place Barn was originally built to be a horse barn.  The property owners wanted to build a unique barn and their inspiration came from the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.  They had planned chandeliers, a balcony, the works!  Toward the end of construction, one of the men working on the Barn asked if he could have his daughter’s wedding there.  So the owners obliged and little did they know that would be the first of many weddings held in their horse barn!  Sadly, the horses have never been in the Barn, but they’re pretty happy roaming the pastures around it.  The Barn now holds up to 350 people inside, with fantastic pasture space for an indoor/outdoor party of well over 500 guests.  And you will not find a more unique site!

Come back tomorrow to see photos from the Magnolia Dining Room!

Pratt Place Inn: A Photo Tour

If you’ve not yet had the opportunity to tour Pratt Place Inn in person, then you are in for a treat!  We’ll be doing a photo tour of the property over the next few days.  Sassafras Hill truly is the perfect escape — completely surrounded by nature, but only moments away from downtown fun.
